It ain't the best lightbox in the world, but it's usable. Opted not to use a fluorescent tube light because the ballast generates a lot of heat.

Opted for clear acrylic as opposed to white since it's what I'm accustomed to. I used to trace with a lamp shining under a propped up piece of clear perspex - a pathetic makeshift lightbox.

The box could do with a reflective lining to spread the light more evenly. But... I'm lazy!

Definitely a much cheaper alternative!
